5 members mowed and cleaned-up the AME Church Cemetery in preparation for the Memorial Day Ceremony. 7 members attended the ceremony on Memorial Day. 10+ members attended and actively participated in the Swedesboro Memorial Day Ceremony; at this time the post presented awards to the Post Scout of Year winners.
Post made a donation for the child of a fellow veteran who is suffering from a serious medical condition and the medical expenses are great.
6 members participated in a day trip to Washing DC to see the Vietnam Memorial and the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery along with other noteworthy monuments.
8+ members did flag etiquette uniform inspection and color guard training with Boy Scout Troop 13 all in preparation for their participation in the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.
9+ members attended the Kingsway HS annual Memorial Day Ceremony at which time the post presented the award for the Post Sponsored Contest.
3 members attended an Eagle Scout Court of Honor and present a certificate and challenge coin to the Eagle Scout.
Post members continue to participate in fire safety training every month along with active participation in our local Boy Scout troop church functions and the West Point Field Force Team.
