At the Post Meeting this month the membership approved donations to:
Manville/Hillsborough Elks Fundraiser - $200
Run to Remember - $500
Somerset County Votech - Proud to be an American Event - $1000
The Post provided the Trenton Vet Center use of our facility for their Thursday AM counseling and benefit assistance. Hours 20 - Value $800. CS: 7P/20H/2300$
On March 29 2026 Post 2290 hosted a Vietnam War Veteran Memorial Ceremony at the Post attended by more than 50 attendees. Following the Ceremony refreshments were provided to the attendees. Hours - 50; Value - $890 AM: 1P/50H/890$
The Post donated use of areas of the Post home for meetings and activities Scout Troop 193. VFW personnel work with Troops Leadership to assist them to fulfill their organizational objectives. In addition the Troop sponsored a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for which the Post donated the rent for the Main Hall - Hours 20 - Value $1300 YA: 1P/25H/1300$ |
