CS1 - 04 APR 2026: Three members presented an interment flag to the family of our fallen Comrade Lewis J. Rose for his transport to the funeral home. Commander along with the West Milford Chief of Police and the Fire Chief of West Milford Fire Department Company 4 draped the flag over his body in preparation for transport home and then the members joined the West Milford Police Department and West Milford Fire Department Company 4 in the procession transporting him home. 3 members x 4 hours = 12 total man hours.
CS2 - 06 APR 2026: Commander spent the day with the family of our fallen Comrade Lewis J. Rose helping to get the VA notified of his passing and get the ball rolling on all the paperwork for their survivor benefits. Worked closely with the Passaic County VSO to ensure nothing was missed. 1 members x 5 hours = 5 total man hours
CS3 - 09 APR 2026: 10 members attended the funeral service for our fallen Comrade Lewis J. Rose and performed the chapel service as requested by the family. Members then conducted the three-volley salute prior to the playing of TAPS and Flag presentation to the family. 10 members x 3 hours = 30 total man hours.
CS4 - 10 APR 2026: Commander with HMMWV joined the West Milford Police Department and West Milford Fire Department Company 4 on our fallen Comrade Lewis J. Rose's final transport to crematorium along with family members paying our final respects to a great man. 1 member x 3 hours = 3 total man hours. |
