03/26 Community Service Man Hours:

1. March meeting planning March events and pre-planning for April events.  6 members 1 hr = 6 mh.

 2. Unload truck for Wanaque food bank and stack on shelves 1 member 3 hrs twice a month = 6 mh.

3. Donated use of VFW building to the Haskell AC club for their monthly meeting 3 members 1 hr = 3 mh.

 4. Cleaned each week the Wanaque Golden Agers Club for their weekly meetings 4 members 2.5  hrs each week = 10 mh.

5. Provided a color guard for the Ringwood NJ St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  5 Members 2 hrs = 10 mh.

6. Cleaned up Midvale Cemetery of Christmas wreaths from Wreaths Across America & other Christmas decorations.  Also cleaned up garbage laying around from Winter.  10 members 3 hrs = 30 mh.

7. Participated in conjunction with our Auxiliary in our local VOD awards at our local High School BOE meeting.  Presented the winner Jennifer Whitmore with a certificate and a $200.00 check.  4 members 1 hr = 4 mh.

8. Cleaned up a round the Frank Addice Memorial KIA 04/11/68 in Addice Park Wanaque.  Also placed 4 memorial stones at the site honoring Army Navy Air Force and Marines.  Held a small memorial service for Viet Nam Veteran’s Day at the site.  8 Members 2 hrs = 16 mh.

9.  Hosted the town Memorial Day Parade planning meeting with members from: the American Legion Post 246 Wanaque Police Department Wanaque Boro Council Wanaque Recreation Dept. and Wanaque Road Deoartment.  4 members 1 hr = 4 mh.
