CS - Coffee with a Vet. The post offers coffee and donuts to the community. Guests include business and civic leaders first responders and Veterans from local rehabilitation centers and nursing homes. Jan 7 - 15 members 30 hours Jan 14 - 19 members 38 hours hosted the Nam Knights of America Barnegat Bay Chapter. Jan 21 - 10 members 20 hours. Jan 28 canceled for weather.
YA - Post members mentor students at local elementary and middle schools. Our mentoring program includes the use of a trained and certified therapy dog owned by a post member. Recommendation letters for college admissions were also composed for students recognized by the Post as competitors in Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy programs. 2 members 23 hours. |
