Blood Drive

Description:
Post 8096 hosts numerous sports programs in the community so
that they can recognize their coaches and players. We held a banquet for
Kinnelon's Wrestling Program and served food and drinks for everyone.
Post 8096 continuously mentors an at risk youth in the
community. This young man had been bullied and had zero friends. We have taken
him in and made him an honorary member. We provided donations for him. We have
given him shirts and hoodies with the VFW logo. We also hosted our first semi-annual Blood Drive in January. It was a
great success with over 20 people donating blood.
