Dec 17th one of our Post members offered to DJ for an event hosted by Our Way to Hope's Christmas Toy Giveaway at Elmwood Park American Legion Post 174. Another member volunteered to present toys to neighborhood youngsters as well as provide food and entertainment for all attendees.
Dec 20th three Post members went to the Paterson VA Clinic in the morning to offer snacks and a few gifts to Veterans and staff members in preparation for the Christmas holidays.
Dec 20th the Post hosted a joint Christmas party with our Auxiliary. 36 Post and Aux members as well as their families were in attendance. it was potluck-style gathering but the Post did purchase several main dishes and silverware. We had one of our Post members offer his time to DJ the celebration for us.
Dec 21st the Post hosted a Christmas Party for people in the community who had supported us throughout the year. Santa made a surprise appearance and took photos with some of the customers.
