On December 23 2025 at 10am 3 members and myself helped the State Police conduct a food drive. We held this drive at the St. Josephs pantry in Hammonton. Around 30 State Police officers helped out. We separated the items on the pallets and stocked them in the pantry. It took about 4 hrs to complete.
On November 11 2025 our post 1026 DAV American Legion held a Veterans Day ceremony at the Hammonton Middle School at 1900 hrs. Around 75 people attended. There were local politicians speaking about their thoughts on Veterans Day. The Middle School Band played patriotic songs.
Our post participated in the Vet Haven Christmas party on Dec 5 2025 at 1700hrs. We had members from different posts from District 16. We helped serve food and talked with a few of the veterans. Our post donated 100.00 for the Vet Havens needs that the vets may have.
Our post 1026 participated in the this years Patriots Pen Essay. We received 2 entries and one of our entries was chosen to go to the finals in February. Andrew Jones was the entry winner his parents were contacted.
