12/25 Community Service Man Hours:

1. December meeting planning December events and pre-planning January events 9 members 1 hr = 9 mh

2. Unload truck for Wanaque food bank and stack on shelves 1 member 5 hrs twice a month 10 mh Each week = 20 mh. 

3. Donated use of VFW building to the Haskell AC club for their meeting 3 members 1 hr = 3 mh.

4. Cleaned each week the Wanaque Golden Agers Club for their weekly meetings 4 members 3 hrs each week = 48 mh.

5. Participated along with the 6765 Auxiliary in hosting bingo at the Paramus Veterans Home.  Helped run the bingo and visited and assisted the veterans housed there. 10 members 4 hrs = 160 mhs.  Also provided $150.00 towards the game prizes.

6. Cleaned leaves and debris from the Midvale Memorial Cemetery and placed American Flags on the graves of the veterans in preparation for Wreaths Across America. 8 members 3 hrs = 24 mhs.

7. Attended the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony at the Passaic County Technical Vocational School 4 members 1 hr = 4 mhs.

8. Participated in Wreaths Across America by placing wreaths at the headstones of all the veterans buried there (220) and had a remembrance ceremony.  12 Members 3 hrs = 36 mhs.

7. Judged the local entries in the VOD and PP programs. 5 members 2 hrs = 10 mh.

8. Provided a Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony at the Wanaque Pearl Harbor Memorial with a color guard taps played and a speech by Commander Robert Tennant with facts about Pearl Harbor.  8 members 1 hr = 8 mh.

9. Donated $590.00 to the Wanaque VFW Auxiliary 6765 for their scholarship Fund.

10. Donated $250.00 to Wanaque Feeds the Hungry food bank.

11. Donated $100.00 to the National Home earmarked for the NJ Home.
