YA1 - 03 NOV 2025 - Seven members provided a block of instruction covering flag folding and flag etiquette to over 100 students at Apshawa School. At the end of the class members received a box of unserviceable flags that the students had collected. The members then broke off into teams to conduct Veteran Story hour with the younger students. 7 members x 4 hours = 28 total man hours
AM2 - 11 NOV 2025 - 11 members conducted the West Milford Township's Veterans Day ceremony. An additional four hours were spent on planning and coordination. 11 members x 2 hours + 4 planning hours = 26 total man hours.
CS1 - 05 NOV 2025 - Eight members attended the Marshall Hill School's Veterans Day program that included a breakfast and ceremony. 8 members x 4 hours = 32 total man hours
CS2 - 05 NOV 2025 - Two members attended the PCTI Veterans Day program that included a breakfast and ceremony. 2 members x 4 hours = 8 total man hours
CS3 - 07 NOV 2025 - Four members conducted Veterans Story Hour at the West Milford Township's Library. 4 members x 2 hours = 8 total man hours
CS4 - 10 NOV 2025 - 14 member attended the NJ Devils Military Appreciation Day game where they were honored by the team and arena. 14 members x 5 hours = 70 total man hours
CS5 - 11 NOV 2025 - Post provided one member to the USS Intrepid Former Crew Members Association to drive a HMMWV carrying crew members for the NYC Veterans Day Parade. 1 member x 8 hours = 8 total man hours. Total Cost = $60
CS6 - 12 NOV 2025 - Eight members attended the Upper Greenwood Lake School's program that included a breakfast and ceremony. Post Commander gave speech. 8 members x 3 hours = 24 total man hours
CS7 - 13 NOV 2025 - Four members spoke to students in Macopin Middle School's history classes about their experiences in the military. 4 members x 3 hours = 12 total man hours
CS8 - 14 NOV 2025 - Eight members attended the Macopin Middle School's Veterans Day program that included a breakfast a mini-parade and ceremony. 8 members x 3 hours = 24 total man hours
DR1 - 15 NOV 2025 - Four members judged the 53 VOD essay competition entries advancing two to District. 4 members x 5 hours - 20 man hours for judging. Post VOD chairman spent at least 10 hours in coordination collection and organizing the program for a total of 30 man hours for this year's VOD Program. $750 will be awarded at future date. And an additional $80 was spent for certificates medals and frames
DR2 - 15 NOV 2025 - Four member judged the four Patriot's Pen essay competition entries advancing one to District. 4 members x 1 hour = 4 man hours for judging. Post PP chairman spent about 4 hours in coordination collection and organizing the program for a total of 8 man hours for this year's PP Program. $600 will be awarded at future date. And an additional $80 was spent for certificates medals and frames |
