Memorial Day – Participated in honoring all of the townships war dead starting at 7am. Breakfast was donated by the commander. The post the participated in the local parade where our chaplain was the grand Marshall.

Flag Day – Held a proper flag retirement ceremony on flag day with the local girls' scouts. The money for supplies was donated by the commander and the post did not incur an expense.

4^th of July – We worked with the mayor’s office to setup and area only for veterans to sit at the local fireworks. Members donated food and drinks for the event and there was no expense to the post.

POW MIA - Held ceremony at the post. Food was provided by a local restaurant.

Flag Raising - Post needed a new flag and a ceremony was held to replace the old flag with a new American made flag. Old flag will be retired at the next flag retirment cermony in the new year.

Community Involvement - Post hall was used at no cost to a local Autism Group to educated local parents on Autism in children and adults. Hall was given at no cost to the Nutley Chamber of Commerce for a holiday party which uses the Nutley High School Culinary Group to cook and serve the food for service hours. Post sent a color guard to a submarine
