Kearny in observing the tragedy of 9/11. (1 Hour of Americanism
9/15: Kearny Food Pantry Network. Provided logistics and
distribution relief of food insecurity. (2 Hours of Community Involvement)
9/16: Homes For Veterans Annual Gala. Attended representing
Post 1302 supporting the mission to provide barrier-free living to veterans
9/19: POW/MIA: Hosted Veterans and the community in honoring those still lost from America's
involvement in Wars. (2 Hours of Americanism) $150 Spent
9/20: The Amazing Duck Race. Supported the Kearny- Bellville Elks in the Annual Fundraiser
which benefits veterans and homelessness. (8 Hours of Community Involvement). Donated

9/20: Hudson County's Strides for Safety 5K - A Run Against Gun Violence. Participated in a 5K
to promote Veterans against violence. (2 hours of Community Involvement) Donated $40
9/27: Speedsters Track Team Carwash. Hosted a youth track team to support purchase of
uniforms and equipment. (6 Hours of Youth Activity) Donated $200
9/27: Extraordinary Parents of Incredible Kids (EPIC). Hosted a meeting location and event for
families of children with down syndrome. (4 hours of Youth) Donated $500
9/28: Fall Freedom Festival. VFW Post event supporting community while garnering
Americanism. Provided entertainment to approximately 200 families. (8 Hours Community
Involvement) Donated $1000
